Start your revision with the essential.
Booked your exams but not sure where to start with revision? Doing your Training Contract or Qualifying Work Experience and struggling with working while studying? Going into SQE2 and discovering all the courses are self-study only? These notes are for you.
I sat (update: and PASSED!) the SQE2 assessments in January 2024. Having already sat the LPC and working full-time, I had hoped that most of my notes were already in hand, until I realised how different the two exams are. When I looked online for study notes I found that they tended to be dozens of pages long and tended to go into unnecessary amounts of detail while also not being tailored to the assessment questions.
These notes are my own work and my sole source of FLK for revision purposes. I do not claim these notes to be a 1-to-1 substitute for a textbook, which would go into far more detail. Rather, my aim was to include everything which I considered essential, while keeping the notes at a manageable length. Through memorising these notes and practicing with sample assessments papers, I got through the SQE2 assessments comfortably (update: and again, PASSED!).
Please be advised that I have not sat SQE1. However, with FLK being shared between SQE1 and SQE2, these notes can serve as a helpful resource for SQE1 students as well. Whether you use these notes as a sole or supplementary resource, or as a starting point for your own notes, they will most certainly save you a lot of valuable time and hopefully a lot of stress as well.
I hope you find them helpful and best of luck for your exams!
